The Venetian Sailors quickly evolved from one of the areas hottest up and coming folk/roots quarters into a full blown electric, soulful amalgamation of melodic merriment and intriguing arrangements. Their studio work teeters on the edge of Beatles and Beach Boys-inspired harmonies and melodic layering to the soulful sounds of Motown and Stax, though they maintain a thematic and soundtrack-like identity uniquely their own. Melody, harmony, arrangements and hooks are what they are all about. Their lead single from their 2017 debut LP release “La La Language” is still in regular rotation on Dallas, Texas’s 91.7 KXT.
