November is Native American Heritage Month and AT&T Discovery District is celebrating the history, culture, and traditions of Native Americans in the Discovery District all month long!

Monday, 11/8 from 6-7pm: Experience Native American Veterans Color Guard, Native American Dancers, Drummers, and Singers. Dallas City Councilman Omar Narvaez will say a few words about Native American Heritage Month and Brian Larney (Seminole-Choctaw) will speak about the image he created for the media wall.

Saturday, 11/20 from 1pm-5pm: Mini Powwow + Native Dancers, Drummers and Singers, + Native American vendors. The members of the “Art Heals:  The Jingle Dress Project” will be our special guests for the powwow.  The Jingle Dress Dancers will close out the powwow with honor and healing dances.

Sunday, 11/28 from 11am-3pm: NAHM Fair + Native American vendors + Native Hip Hop Artist, Supaman (1-2pm). *This has been rescheduled to Sunday 11/28, to avoid bad weather on Saturday 11/27.
