Chuck Ligon

local talent

Chuck Ligon is a musician born and raised in Texas…and damn proud of it! Having a father that grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and played bass in a 1950’s rock band that toured with Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Waylon Jennings, it was only natural that Chuck would get an early start playing music.

In 2011, Chuck and his band opened for Roger Creager and Jack Ingram at Wildflower. After being invited back in 2012, they opened for Neal McCoy and Mark Chesnutt, and in 2013 they opened for Ray Wylie Hubbard and Robert Earl Keen.

In 2013, Chuck released an original EP titled Come And Take It that included crowd favorites You Talked Me Into Lazy, Down The Road, Bound To Know, and the Texas anthem, Come And Take It, which was Chuck’s the first single released to Texas Radio.  The EP also included Fight For Life, which is a heart-felt song written for his mother.  In 2015, Chuck released a full-length album titled Faith, Love & Revenge, which includes notable tracks such as My Just Revenge, Judgment Day, Preacher Man and Goodbye Lonely.
